St. Paul Christian Early Learning Center is looking for a few good people to join our dedicated team of teachers! We are currently interviewing for full time Lead teachers, and Assistant teachers.

Are you dedicated to helping young minds grow? Are you committed to building children’s social and emotional skills and wellbeing? 

Qualified applicants for the Lead teacher positions must have an associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or elementary education.

Assistant teacher (AGS) applicants must have a minimum of 2500 documented hours working with children or one of the following:

  • Have 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and 1 year of documented experience with children.
  • Have 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.

Assistant teacher (AGS) salary $14.00 to $16.00 per hour. Salary increases depend on level of education and experience.

Lead teacher salary $16.00 to $18.50 per hour. Salary increases depend on level of education and experience.

All employees adhere to the training, continuing education, and conduct requirements established by CELC, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Keystone Stars.  All new employees at St. Paul CELC are required to complete Criminal, Child Abuse Clearances, National Sex Offender Registry check, and FBI fingerprinting. A health assessment and tuberculin (TB) test is also required.
